Akimoku
Founded in 1910, it is Japan's only bentwood furniture workshop. It has inherited Michael Thonet's techniques with precision and has collaborated with Isamu Kenmochi, Sori Yanagi, and Nendo to produce classic chairs. Lightweight yet sturdy, their products improve with use, and have been exhibited at the Milan Salone. They symbolize the fusion of Japanese tradition and modern design.
