"Melt" was born in collaboration with the Swedish avant-garde design group FRONT. By reflecting light off the irregularly textured surface of the shade, it creates the visual effect of objects melting away. Using vacuum deposition technology, when the light is turned off, it takes on a completely different appearance than when it is lit, transforming into a mirrored object that reflects the surrounding scenery.
