The "Plia Chair" is a masterpiece and a representative work by Giancarlo Piretti, designed in 1969. It is produced by ANONIMA CASTELLI in Italy. This is a foldable and stackable side chair designed by Giancarlo Piretti. Its innovative structure, which allows it to be folded using only the round metal parts on either side of the seat, was later imitated by many manufacturers and became the prototype for today's folding chairs. This functional, transparent, and beautiful chair has sold over 7 million units worldwide since 1969, is part of the MoMA collection, and has won numerous awards. Its slim design allows it to be stored in a space of about 5cm when folded. It can also be stacked when upright. Not only can it be folded thin for storage, but it can also be stacked and stored compactly when self-standing (either fully open or semi-open).
