GRAVITY TRAY
This tray features a surface that adheres to different physical laws. It elevates the mathematical principles of warped space into a functional object. A polished steel grid, distorted by an invisible mass at its center, much like a planet bends the space around it. From above, it shines like a mirror; from the side, it radiates sculptural beauty. Each interlocking section is movable, allowing you to freely adjust the angle of distortion. Its shape comes alive the moment you pick it up. It is useful wherever small items gather: keys and rings by the door, a watch on the nightstand, chocolates on the table. Everything placed on it sits within its curves, at the center of its own small gravitational field. It comes in four color variations. Two of these were developed at the request of Parisian museum shops. The red and blue editions for the Centre Pompidou evoke the color-coded ducts and shafts seen on its famous exterior, while the green edition for the Grand Palais adopts the reseda green of the ironwork under its glass roof. The iconic colors of these buildings now adorn this tray.
