The Chicago Lighthouse

Founded in Chicago in 1906, Chicago Lighthouse is an American nonprofit social service organization that provides comprehensive medical, educational, and employment support to the visually impaired and veterans with disabilities. It offers a variety of programs, from visually impaired rehabilitation and low-vision clinics to vocational training and employment, supporting more than 67,000 users annually. In 1977, it secured an exclusive contract to manufacture wall clocks for the U.S. government, and through Chicago Lighthouse Industries, it manufactures and sells high-quality clocks, calendars, ergonomic office supplies, and more.
