The surface is finished with urethane coating, making it resistant to water and stains compared to regular solid wood. Its high elasticity also makes it resistant to scratches and dents, making it easy to handle even in households with children or pets. White ash offers a natural texture with clear wood grain contrasts that change over time, and each piece of wood is unique. Solid wood is sensitive to changes in humidity, which can lead to warping and cracking. To address this, ENEN uses wood with controlled moisture content, one of the causes of these issues, and also applies metal anti-warp stabilizers to the underside of the tabletop. Additionally, the color and texture of solid wood change over time. The appeal of solid wood lies in its ability to age gracefully, gaining more character with use.
