The Drop was designed by Arne Jacobsen himself in 1958 as part of the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel project in Copenhagen, known as one of Jacobsen's masterpieces. Although manufactured alongside the Swan and Egg chairs, production of the Drop was limited to the hotel itself. Waking from a slumber of over 50 years, the Drop reappeared in 2014. This lovely and distinctive chair has history and identity, yet feels fresh and powerful. The characteristic backrest shape of the Drop offers both a warm embrace and freedom of movement, creating a surprisingly comfortable experience.
