GRAVITY CENTREPIECE POMPIDOU
A surface tray that appears to follow different physical laws. It draws inspiration from the science fiction fantasy of bending the space-time continuum. A shiny grid that distorts in response to hidden forces. Interlocking parts allow for precise adjustment of the grid's angle. A flat grid, losing its flatness as if by something that isn't there. It transforms the mathematical principles of warped space into a functional object, creating a surface that seems to react to forces invisible to anyone's eyes. The interlocking steel parts are movable, allowing for fine-tuning of the grid's angle, so its shape is never completely fixed. From above, it reflects; from the side, it presents itself as a sculpture.
