A fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist, Moli Kiel. She works in the intersection between illustration and graphic design. Her working process is playful, resulting in light expressions and a vivid colour palette. While studying at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel was also trained as a decorator and painter, working on the restoration of historical buildings. This work required the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, wood graining, and gilding. That knowledge remains at the core of Kiel's work today. While her colours are bright and light, the mosaic motif has the feel of being inspired by the marble patterned floors of historical architecture.
