This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist Mollie Kieland. She works in the intersection of illustration and graphic design. Her working process is playful, resulting in light-hearted expressions and colours. During her studies at the Royal College of Art in London, Kieland also trained as a decorator and painter, working on the restoration of historic buildings. This work required her to use traditional techniques such as marbling, wood grain imitation, and gilding. This knowledge remains at the core of Kieland's work today. Her colours are bright and light, yet her mosaic motifs have a feel as if inspired by the marbled floors of historic architecture.
