A fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist, Moli Kiel. She works in the borderlands between illustration and graphic design. Her creative process is playful and results in a light expression and colorful universe. During her time at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel was also trained as a decorator and painter, working with the restoration of historical buildings. This work required the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, wood graining, and gilding. That knowledge is still at the heart of Kiel's work. Her colors are bright and light, but the mosaic motif has a feel as if it were inspired by the marble patterned floors of historical buildings.
