This is a fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist Molly Kiel. She works in the intersection of illustration and graphic design. Her creative process is playful, resulting in light expressions and colors. While studying at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel also trained as a decorator and painter, working on historical restoration projects. This work required the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, wood graining, and gilding. That knowledge remains at the core of Kiel's work today. While her colors are bright and light, her mosaic motifs appear to be inspired by the marble patterned floors of historical buildings.
