This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist, Moli Kiel. She works in the borderlands of illustration and graphic design. Her working process is playful, resulting in light expressions and colours. During her time at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel was also trained as a decorative painter and gilder, working on restoration projects in historic buildings. That work called for the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, wood graining, and gilding. That knowledge is still at the heart of Kiel’s work today. Her colours are bright and light, yet her mosaic motifs have a feeling of being inspired by marble-patterned floors in historic architecture.
