This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist, Moli Kiel. She works in the borderlands between illustration and graphic design. Her creative process is playful, resulting in light expressions and colors. While studying at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel also trained as a decorator and painter, working on the restoration of historic buildings. This work required the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, wood graining, and gilding. That knowledge remains at the core of Kiel's work today. Her colors are bright and light, yet the mosaic motif seems to draw inspiration from the marble-patterned floors of historic architecture.
