This fine art giclée print was created by Copenhagen-based artist, Moli Kiel, specifically for The Poster Club. She works in the borderlands of illustration and graphic design. Her working process is playful, which results in light expressions and colors. During her time at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel was also trained as a decorator and painter, working with the restoration of historic buildings. This work required the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, wood graining, and gilding. This knowledge is still at the core of Kiel's work. Her colors are bright and light, yet the mosaic motifs have a feel as if they are inspired by the marbled floors of historic buildings.
