A fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist Molly Kiel. She operates in the borderland between illustration and graphic design. Her working process is playful, resulting in light expressions and colors. During her time at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel was also trained as a decorator and painter, working with the restoration of historical buildings. This work demanded the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, graining, and gilding. That knowledge is still at the core of Kiel’s work. While her colors are bright and light, the mosaic motifs have a feel as if they are inspired by the marble pattern floors of historic buildings.
