A fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist, Moli Kiel. She works in the borderlands between illustration and graphic design. Her creative process is playful, and the result is characterized by a light expression and colorfulness. While studying at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel was also trained as a decorator and painter, working on the restoration of historic buildings. The work required the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, wood graining, and gilding. This knowledge is still at the heart of Kiel's work. Her colors are bright and light, but the mosaic motifs have a feel that seems inspired by the marble patterned floors of historic buildings.
