This is a fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist, Moli Kiel. She works in the borderlands of illustration and graphic design. Her working process is playful, which results in light-hearted expressions and colors. While studying at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel was also trained as a decorator and painter and worked on the restoration of historic buildings. The work required her to use traditional techniques such as marbling, wood grain imitation, and gold leaf application. That knowledge remains at the core of Kiel's work. Her colors are bright and light, but the mosaic motifs have a sense of being inspired by the marble patterned floors of historical buildings.
