This is a fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist Moli Kiel. She operates in the intersection of illustration and graphic design. Her working process is playful, resulting in light expressions and colors. During her studies at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel also trained as a decorator and painter, involved in the restoration of historical buildings. This work required the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, wood grain imitation, and gilding. That knowledge is still at the core of Kiel's work today. While her colors are bright and light, the mosaic motifs have a touch that seems to be inspired by the marble patterned floors of historical buildings.
