A fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Copenhagen-based artist, Moli Kiel. She works in the intersection between illustration and graphic design. Her working process is playful, which results in light expressions and colors. During her time at the Royal College of Art in London, Kiel was also trained as a decorator and painter, working with the restoration of historical buildings. That work called for the use of traditional techniques such as marbling, wood graining, and gilding. That knowledge is still at the core of Kiel’s work today. Her colors are bright and light, while the mosaic motif feels inspired by the marble patterned floors of historical buildings.
