This is a fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Korean illustrator Makitoi. She draws inspiration from tranquil strolls through Hangang Park in Seoul, Korea's vibrant capital. This riverside oasis, with its numerous bookstores, cafes, and galleries, is a place where serenity and convenience are exquisitely balanced. After six years as an illustrator, Makitoi transitioned to freelance work, tackling individual projects from the comfort of her home, alongside her two beloved cats. Since 2019, she has diligently pursued a personal project of daily drawing, a habit that has not only honed her skills but also built up her artistic archive. Makitoi's vivid art posters feature bold botanical illustrations drawn on paper with pens and markers. "Plants give me a fresh perspective," she explains.
