This is a fine art giclée print specially created for The Poster Club by Korean illustrator Makitoi. She draws inspiration from tranquil strolls through Hangang Park in Seoul, the vibrant capital of South Korea. This waterside oasis offers a perfect blend of serenity and convenience, dotted with numerous bookstores, cafes, and galleries. After six years working as an illustrator, Makitoi transitioned to freelance work, tackling individual projects from the comfort of her home, accompanied by her two beloved cats. Since 2019, she has diligently pursued a personal project of daily drawing, a habit that not only hones her skills but also builds her artistic archive. Makitoi's vibrant art posters feature bold botanical illustrations, drawn on paper with pens and markers. "Plants give me a new perspective," she explains.
