This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Korean illustrator Makitoi. She draws inspiration from serene walks in Seoul's Han River Park, a vibrant oasis in the heart of South Korea's bustling capital. This riverside haven offers a unique blend of tranquility and convenience, with numerous bookstores, cafes, and galleries. After six years as an in-house illustrator, Makitoi transitioned to freelancing, working on individual projects from the comfort of her home, alongside her two beloved cats. Since 2019, she has diligently maintained a personal project of daily drawing, a habit that not only hones her skills but also builds an archive of her artistic journey. Makitoi's vibrant art posters feature bold botanical illustrations, hand-drawn on paper with pens and markers. "Plants give me new perspectives," she explains.
