This is a fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Korean illustrator, Makitoy. She draws inspiration from peaceful strolls through the Han River Park in Seoul, the vibrant capital of South Korea. This waterside oasis offers a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience, with its numerous bookstores, cafes, and galleries. After six years as an in-house illustrator, Makitoy transitioned to freelance work, tackling individual projects from the comfort of her home alongside her two beloved cats. Since 2019, she has diligently maintained a personal project of daily drawings, a habit that not only hones her skills but also builds her artistic archive. Makitoy's vibrant art posters feature bold botanical illustrations, drawn on paper with pens and markers. "Plants give me a new perspective," she explains.
