A fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Korean illustrator Makitoi. She draws inspiration from serene walks in Han River Park, located in the vibrant South Korean capital of Seoul. This riverside oasis is a harmonious blend of tranquility and convenience, boasting numerous bookstores, cafés, and galleries. After six years as an in-house illustrator, Makitoi transitioned to freelancing, working on individual projects from the comfort of her home alongside her two beloved cats. Since 2019, she has diligently maintained a personal project of daily drawing, a habit that has not only honed her skills but also built up her artistic archive. Makitoi's vibrant art posters feature bold botanical illustrations, drawn on paper with pens and markers. "Plants give me a new perspective," she explains.
