A fine art giclée print specially created for The Poster Club by Japanese artist Kyoko Takeshita. For over 15 years, Kyoko Takeshita led a life on the constant move. However, everything changed when she was diagnosed with Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness, a chronic vestibular and brain dysfunction. The bustling cities that once fueled her creativity suddenly became unbearable, leading her back to the mountains and forests of her hometown in the south. Leaving behind the hectic pace of life, she turned to nature, finding a new source of inspiration in its unhurried rhythm. This return to nature, coupled with her health challenges, has profoundly shaped her art. Her work explores themes of freedom, endurance, and gratitude for everyday life. Trees, both as a medium and a muse, are central to her creative practice.
