A fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Japanese artist Kyoko Takeshita. For over 15 years, she lived a constantly moving life. However, everything changed when she was diagnosed with Persistent Postural Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD), a chronic dysfunction of the vestibular system and brain. The bustling cities that once fueled her creativity suddenly became unbearable, leading her to return to the mountains and forests of her hometown in the south. Leaving behind her hectic lifestyle, she turned to nature, where its relaxed rhythm became a new source of inspiration. This return to nature, combined with her health challenges, has deeply shaped her art. Her work explores themes of freedom, patience, and gratitude for everyday life. Wood, both as a material and a muse, is central to her creative process.
