This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Japanese artist Kyoko Takeshita. For over 15 years, her life was one of constant movement. However, everything changed when she was diagnosed with Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness, a chronic dysfunction of the vestibular system and brain. The bustling cities that once fueled her creativity suddenly became unbearable, leading her back to the mountains and forests of her southern hometown. Leaving behind a hectic lifestyle, she turned to nature, finding a new source of inspiration in its relaxed rhythm. This return to nature, combined with her health challenges, has profoundly shaped her art. Her work explores themes of freedom, perseverance, and gratitude for everyday life. Wood, both as a material and as a muse, is central to her creative practice.
