This fine art giclée print was specially created by Japanese artist Kyoko Takeshita for The Poster Club. For over 15 years, she lived a life on the move. However, everything changed when she was diagnosed with Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness, a chronic dysfunction of the vestibular system and brain. The bustling city that once fueled her creativity suddenly became unbearable, leading her back to the mountains and forests of her hometown in the south. Leaving behind her hectic lifestyle, she turned to nature, where the unhurried rhythm became a new source of inspiration. This return to nature, combined with her health challenges, has deeply shaped her art. Her work explores themes of freedom, patience, and gratitude for everyday life. Wood, both as a material and a muse, is central to her creative process.
