A fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Moroccan-based artist Nassim Azarzar. His work embodies identity and cultural fluidity, shaped by his upbringing in Épinay-sur-Seine, a Parisian suburb with a rich and complex tapestry of diasporic influences. Nassim's childhood environment was marked by contrasting elements, celebrating diversity while confronting the tensions associated with cultural assimilation. In 2013, he moved to Morocco, his family's homeland, to engage more deeply with his roots. This turning point, though challenging, became the foundation for a multidisciplinary creative practice blending painting, sculpture, experimental film, poetry, and sound. From his atelier in Rabat overlooking the Atlantic, Nassim draws on these diverse influences to explore themes of marginalization, displacement, and belonging.
