This is a fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Moroccan-based artist Nassim Azarzar. His work embodies the fluidity of identity and culture, shaped by his upbringing in Épinay-sur-Seine, a Parisian suburb rich with the complex tapestry of diaspora influences. Nassim's early environment was marked by contrasting elements, celebrating diversity while confronting the tensions of cultural assimilation. In 2013, he moved to Morocco, his family's homeland, to more deeply engage with his roots. This challenging transition became the foundation for a multidisciplinary creative practice that interweaves painting, sculpture, experimental film, poetry, and sound. From his atelier in Rabat overlooking the Atlantic, Nassim draws on these diverse influences to explore themes of alienation, displacement, and belonging.
