This is a fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Moroccan-based artist Nassim Azarzar. His work embodies the fluidity of identity and culture, shaped by his upbringing in Épinay-sur-Seine, a Parisian suburb rich with the complex interplay of diasporic influences. Nassim's childhood environment was characterized by the celebration of diversity alongside the tension of cultural assimilation. In 2013, he moved to Morocco, his family's homeland, to connect more deeply with his roots. This challenging transition became the foundation for his multidisciplinary creative practice, which weaves together painting, sculpture, experimental film, poetry, and sound. From his atelier in Rabat, overlooking the Atlantic, Nassim draws on these diverse influences to explore themes of alienation, displacement, and belonging.
