This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Moroccan artist Nassim Azarzar. His work embodies the fluidity of identity and culture, shaped by growing up in Épinay-sur-Seine, a Parisian suburb with a rich and complex diaspora. Nassim's childhood environment was marked by contrasting elements: celebrating diversity while confronting the tensions associated with cultural assimilation. In 2013, he moved to Morocco, his family's homeland, to delve deeper into his roots. This turning point, though challenging, became the foundation for his multidisciplinary creative practice, weaving together painting, sculpture, experimental film, poetry, and sound. From his Rabat studio overlooking the Atlantic, Nassim draws on these diverse influences to explore themes of alienation, displacement, and belonging.
