His work embodies the fluidity of identity and culture, shaped by his upbringing in Épinay-sur-Seine, a Parisian suburb rich with the complex tapestry of diasporic influences. Nassim's early environment was marked by the contrasting elements of celebrating diversity while confronting the tensions of cultural assimilation. In 2013, seeking a deeper connection with his roots, he moved to Morocco, his family's ancestral home. This pivotal shift, though challenging, became the bedrock for his multidisciplinary creative practice, weaving together painting, sculpture, experimental film, poetry, and sound. From his atelier in Rabat, overlooking the Atlantic, Nassim draws on these diverse influences to explore themes of alienation, displacement, and belonging.
