This is a fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Moroccan-based artist Nassim Azarzar. His work embodies the fluidity of identity and culture, shaped by his upbringing in Épinay-sur-Seine, a Parisian suburb rich with the complex interplay of diasporic influences. Nassim's childhood environment was marked by contrasting elements, celebrating diversity while confronting the tensions associated with cultural assimilation. In 2013, he moved to Morocco, his family's homeland, to engage more deeply with his roots. This turning point, though challenging, became the foundation for his multidisciplinary creative practice, which weaves together painting, sculpture, experimental film, poetry, and sound. From his Rabat studio overlooking the Atlantic, Nassim draws on these diverse influences to explore themes of alienation, displacement, and belonging.
