This is a fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Moroccan-based artist Nassim Azarzar. His work embodies the fluidity of identity and culture, shaped by his upbringing in Épinay-sur-Seine, a Parisian suburb rich with the complex tapestry of diaspora influences. Nassim's childhood environment was marked by contrasting elements, celebrating diversity while confronting the tensions associated with cultural assimilation. In 2013, he moved to Morocco, his family's homeland, to more deeply connect with his roots. This turning point, though challenging, became the foundation for his multidisciplinary creative practice, weaving together painting, sculpture, experimental film, poetry, and sound. From his Rabat studio overlooking the Atlantic, Nassim draws on these diverse influences to explore themes of alienation, displacement, and belonging.
