With the gentle lines unique to hand-drawn art and an intentionally simplified style, he creates works that balance humor and sincerity, inviting viewers to smile or ponder for a moment. His drawings give an intuitive and straightforward impression, with ideas visualized directly without being refined away. Based in Pantin, a suburb of Paris, Samuel works from his studio along the Ourcq Canal. After studying visual communication, he briefly worked in advertising, but has been working as a freelancer since 2014, engaged in a wide range of activities including illustration, murals, tattoos, publishing, and self-initiated projects.
