This fine art giclée print was specially created for The Poster Club by French illustrator Samuel Eckert. He uses simple drawings and short phrases to elevate everyday observations into small visual narratives. With the soft lines unique to hand-drawn art and a deliberately simplified style, he creates works that balance humor and sincerity, inviting viewers to smile or ponder for a moment. His drawings give an intuitive and frank impression, visualizing ideas without them being polished away. Based in Pantin, just outside Paris, Samuel works from his studio along the Canal de l'Ourcq. After studying visual communication, he worked briefly in advertising before becoming a freelancer in 2014, and has since developed a wide range of activities including illustration, murals, tattoos, publishing, and self-initiated projects.
