This fine art giclée print was specially created for The Poster Club by French illustrator Samuel Eckert. He uses simple drawings and short phrases to elevate everyday observations into small visual stories. Using loose, hand-drawn lines and a deliberately simplified style, he creates works that balance humor and honesty, inviting viewers to smile or ponder for a moment. His drawings give an intuitive and frank impression, visualizing ideas as they are, without being over-polished and lost. Based in Pantin, a suburb of Paris, Samuel works from his studio along the Ourcq Canal. After studying visual communication, he briefly worked in advertising, but since 2014, he has been working freelance, engaging in a wide range of activities including illustration, murals, tattoos, publishing, and independent projects.
