This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by French illustrator Samuel Eckert. He uses simple drawings and short phrases to elevate everyday observations into small visual narratives. With the gentle lines inherent in hand-drawn work and an intentionally simplified style, he creates works that balance humor and sincerity, inviting viewers to smile or pause for a moment of reflection. His drawings give an intuitive and frank impression, visualizing ideas as they are, without being refined and disappearing. Based in Pantin, a suburb of Paris, Samuel works from his studio along the Ourcq Canal. After studying visual communication, he worked briefly in the advertising industry, but has been working freelance since 2014, engaging in a wide range of activities including illustration, murals, tattoos, publishing, and self-initiated projects.
