This is a fine art giclée print specially created for The Poster Club by French illustrator Samuel Eckert. Using the gentle lines characteristic of hand-drawn art and a deliberately simplified style, he creates works that balance humor and sincerity, inviting viewers to smile or ponder for a moment. His drawings give an intuitive and straightforward impression, as if ideas are visualized as they are, without being refined and disappearing. Based in Pantin, a suburb of Paris, Samuel works in his studio along the Ourcq Canal. After studying visual communication and working briefly in advertising, he has been a freelance artist since 2014, engaging in a wide range of activities including illustration, murals, tattoos, publishing, and self-initiated projects.
