Alongside her work as a cartoonist and illustrator, Rut continues her unique painting practice, rooted in curiosity, intuition, and long-term exploration. While her recent works feature plants and animals as subjects, they are depicted not as isolated objects but as part of a larger, interconnected whole. Rut describes her drawings as "small ecosystems" where plants and animals coexist, grow, and react to each other through color and form. This creative approach reflects her rural environment and also her desire for images to evolve organically rather than adhere to a fixed plan.
