Currently based in a small neighboring rural town, her creative work unfolds at a more relaxed and thoughtful pace. Working closely with her immediate environment, she draws inspiration from the rhythms of daily life, nature, and observation to construct images that are intimate yet quietly expansive. Alongside her work as a cartoonist and illustrator, Rut continues her unique painting practice, rooted in curiosity, intuition, and long-term exploration. While her recent works feature plants and animals, they are depicted not as isolated subjects but as parts of a larger, interconnected whole. Rut describes her drawings as "small ecosystems," where plants and animals coexist, grow, and react to each other through color and form. This creative approach reflects her rural environment and her desire for images to evolve organically rather than adhere to a fixed plan.
