A fine art giclée print created exclusively for The Poster Club by Estonian artist Antonia Figueiredo, based in Tallinn. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Figueiredo long felt that distance from her homeland was essential for her growth. When she left Brazil seven years ago, she believed moving forward meant not looking back. Recently, however, that relationship has begun to shift. While still hesitant to view São Paulo as "home," she has grown increasingly interested in understanding how the place where she grew up continues to shape who she is today. She reflects on her distance from her origin and its impact on her identity. This perspective continues to shape her approach to her work.
