This fine art giclée print was created exclusively for The Poster Club by Antonia Figueiredo, an artist based in Tallinn, Estonia. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, she long felt that the distance from her home country was integral to her development. When she left Brazil seven years ago, she believed that moving forward meant not looking back. Recently, however, that relationship has begun to change. While still resistant to considering São Paulo as "home," she has become increasingly interested in understanding how the place where she grew up continues to shape who she is today. She reflects on the distance from her origin and the impact it has had on her identity. This perspective continues to shape her approach to her work.
