This is a fine art giclée print created especially for The Poster Club by Antonia Figueiredo, an artist based in Tallinn, Estonia. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, she had long felt that the distance from her hometown was essential to her growth. When she left Brazil seven years ago, she believed that moving forward meant not looking back. However, recently a shift in that relationship has begun to emerge. While she still resists defining São Paulo as "home," she is increasingly interested in understanding how the place she grew up in continues to shape who she is today. She reflects on the distance from her birthplace and its impact on her identity. This perspective continues to shape her approach to creation.
