This is a fine art giclée print specially created for The Poster Club by Antonia Figueiredo, an artist based in Tallinn, Estonia. Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, she has long felt that the distance from her hometown was essential to her growth. When she left Brazil seven years ago, she believed that moving forward meant not looking back at the past. Recently, however, that relationship has begun to change. While she still resists considering São Paulo as "home," she is increasingly interested in understanding how the place she grew up continues to shape who she is today. She reflects on the distance from her origins and its impact on her identity. This perspective continues to shape her approach to creation.
