In 1987, Michele De Lucchi, along with Giancarlo Fassina, designed the "Tolomeo" for Artemide, which quickly became a bestseller and established a lasting collaboration that continues to this day. They challenged themselves to combine innovative technologies and materials with an iconic and "homely" form, inspired by traditional balanced arm lamps, to adapt to various uses and environments. Today, it is known as a symbol of modern objects, often seen in homes, offices, hotels, architects' desks, and on photography and film sets. This is a compact model of the light and stylish arm lamp by popular Italian designer Michele De Lucchi. It is recommended as a short-term reading light for bedside use.
