This is the "Monkey" wooden toy, designed by Kay Bojesen in 1951. Originally created as a children's toy in Denmark, it has now become Kay Bojesen's most famous and iconic item, known worldwide as an object for adults. Its limbs, connected to the body, move freely, and its hook-shaped hands and feet allow it to hang from various places. The excellent design makes use of the two-tone texture of teak and limba wood, and it is finished with attention to detail, including an inlay on the abdomen.
