This is an official poster from the LOUISIANA MUSEUM OF MODERN ART, part of the "LOUISIANA POSTERS" series. The artwork featured is "Cadran Lunaire (1935)" by Wolfgang Paalen. The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art produces and sells posters for various past and present exhibitions, boasting an impressive collection of posters featuring numerous artists who have shaped history. This poster depicts "Cadran Lunaire (1935)" by Austrian-Mexican artist Wolfgang Paalen (1905-1959). "Cadran Lunaire" translates to "Lunar Dial," and this poster was created for the exhibition "The Moon - From Inner Worlds to Outer Space," held at Louisiana in 2018, which was one of the most ambitious and successful projects at Louisiana in recent years. This exhibition showcased over 150 works of art centered on the moon, one of the great motifs of our culture, offering a multifaceted portrayal of Earth's natural satellite through art, film, music, literature, cultural-historical artifacts, design, architecture, natural science, and astronomy. For those who wish to display it in their room immediately upon delivery, a simple, high-quality aluminum frame can also be purchased as a set. To minimize warping and bending of the clear surface panel, which is the biggest drawback of affordable poster frames, we use a 1.5mm thick acrylic panel, ensuring flatness and high transparency.
